In 2012, Argentil launched its dedicated credit portfolio, Argentil Principal Investment Portfolio (“APIP I”), to provide short-term loans to SMEs and contribute towards closing the huge financing gap in the market.
Between, Q3 2012 to Q1 2017, APIP I completed eight (8) investments and deployed ~ US $3million which achieved a 1.8x cash multiple. As a result of this success, AAML Launched APIP II in 2017 to meet the market need for equity capital by SMEs in Nigeria.
